Dale Lodge

In the heart of the Lake District, nestled between mountain and lake, Grasmere is a perfect setting for your holiday. This area of outstanding beauty offers something for every visitor and for every season. The poet, William Wordsworth who lived in Grasmere and is buried at St. Oswald’s Church, described the area as “the loveliest spot that man hath ever found”. Walkers, climbers and the less energetic will all fall in love with the landscape that inspired him so much.

A perfect and relaxing break awaits you at Dale Lodge Hotel, Grasmere. As you approach the beautifully refurbished Georgian building, you can appreciate a sample of our mature gardens with secluded seating areas for you to relax and unwind. On walking through the doors and sitting down for a complimentary coffee in the lounge, all your stresses are guaranteed to simply disappear.

For fans of Wordsworth, walking, relaxation or food & drink, Dale Lodge Hotel is your home from home in the heart of the Lakes.
